Collagraphs are printed collages that build imagery through textures. With a fun and exploratory approach, we will adhere soft textural materials such as fabric, paper, and string to mat board to create compositions on printing plates. Working on our completed plates, we will experiment with different inking techniques and use an etching press to create a series of unique prints. All levels welcome; no experience necessary.

KIM SPIVEY is a South Florida artist with a BFA in Printmaking and an MFA in Painting from Florida Atlantic University. Spivey draws great inspiration from nature in her work and loves sharing the joy of art making through teaching.
